First Visit Expectations

Your first visit is a great opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to learn more about our practice!

We encourage our new patients to ask any questions they may have at their visit. 

During your first visit, our team will ask you some questions about your medical and dental history. Certain medical conditions or medications can impact your treatment plan, so we will also ask you to list any medications, vitamins, and supplements you are taking and their dosages.

Dr. Kumar will then perform a comprehensive oral exam. This may include x-rays and a non-invasive oral cancer screening. If no signs of periodontal disease (gum disease) are present, one of our hygienists will continue with a routine cleaning. If we do notice signs of periodontal disease, we may ask you to reschedule the cleaning portion of your appointment to allow more time for a thorough cleaning. 

Once your exam is finished, Dr. Kumar will discuss her findings with you. Together, you will create a treatment plan that best fits your wants, while also giving you a healthy smile. 

We pride ourselves on providing quality, affordable services. We accept a variety of payment methods, including CareCredit and our in-house payment plan. We can prioritize and stagger your treatments to give you the amazing smile you deserve in a timeframe you can afford.
